SEMIOTIC SQUARE
For our semiotic square, we chose to have “running” be our assertion. To contrary this, we chose “sitting” as our negation. To complement the negation, we have "waiting" as our non-assertion. The contrary of this is our non-negation, which we have as “moving.” Running and moving are complimentary to one another, as are sitting and waiting. Moving is contradictory towards sitting, just like waiting is contradictory towards moving. All combined, these elements satisfy the semiotic square.
